This sector is concerned with all services and goods sold or provided to visitors or those working within the sector, whether by organizations or individuals. Such goods include gifts, souvenirs, clothing, childcare, and barber services for guests.
Transportation includes all types of means of transportation, along with their local and international requirements. These are essential for the movement of pilgrims, visitors to the holy sites, and those working within the sector, either for personal travel or for the transportation of goods.
This sector is linked to providing visitors with all necessary housing and accommodation services during their stay in the Kingdom, particularly for the purpose of performing religious rites during the Hajj and Umrah seasons.
This area focuses on all services provided to tourists, pilgrims, and tourism workers. These workers contribute to the operation and maintenance of recreational, cultural, and religious sites that fall outside the scope of ritual performance.
Awareness and media encompass communication tools, educational resources, and stakeholders committed to spreading information and fostering behavioral change through digital and physical mediums. It covers various aspects, including security, religious guidance, environmental awareness, location-based guidance, and health education.
Performing Nusuk involves fulfilling all required steps and conditions for Islamic Sharia rituals during Hajj or Umrah. These include the rituals required for both Hajj and Umrah, such as visiting the Al-Haramain (The Two Holy Mosques), the Five Mawaqit (Designated Starting Points), and various other Islamic holy sites (including Medina, Mina, Arafat, and Muzdalifah)
Health services are committed to addressing the medical needs of pilgrims and religious visitors, with comprehensive facilities extending across health sectors. Beyond aiding Rahman guests, provision includes deploying health personnel, volunteers, vehicles, and ambulances from various healthcare sectors. Additionally, essential resources such as laboratories, medications, medical supplies, informational posters, and health guidance manuals are provided. Specialized services encompass vaccinations and healthcare tailored for the elderly and individuals with special needs.
This area is linked to increasing environmental efficiency and sustainability of resources through waste management, pollution control, and conservation of environmental resources related to the Hajj and Umrah sectors.
This sector pertains to the tools, individuals, and organizations that serve as intermediaries between the guests of the Merciful and all sector services, aiming to facilitate their performance of the Hajj and Umrah rituals. There are seven hospitality companies referred to as “Tawafa Companies,” which oversee essential services such as transportation, accommodation, and others, to facilitate the pilgrims’ journey.
This area is concerned with the security and safety of all visitors and workers participating in Hajj and Umrah events, from their arrival to perform these rituals until their departure. It manages crowds and ensures their well-being throughout their journey, including visits to different areas, catering to their needs until their safe return home.
Catering to the needs of Rahman guests includes providing pre-prepared frozen meals through nutrition providers, following the regulations mandated by relevant authorities, including the Ministry of Hajj
